Leadership Camp

Alpine School

This term three students from year 9, Erin Stirling, Jordan Haag and Grace Gardner have attended the Alpine school for Student Leadership located in Dinner Plain.

Students have had the opportunity to meet other students from across the state and engage in a number of outdoor activities including downhill and cross country skiing. The students complete reflections during their time at the school and work towards putting together a Community Learning Project (CLP). As the Liason teacher I was invited to visit the students on Friday 14 September where I had the opportunity to see the school and watch the students’ presentations about their CLP.

The students finish at the end of the term and will be back at Scoresby Secondary College in Term 4. I look forward to hearing more about their experiences.
