From the Valedictorian

As a cohort, we reject grand narratives. We break the norm by being unapologetically ourselves, for as free canaries, no cage can contain us. Though we stand only at the cusp of adulthood, the experiences we have shared, the memories, friendships and the random side quests, will stay with us forever, even as we journey down our separate paths. 

Though the future may feel uncertain, we step toward it with confidence, for it is our prerogative to believe in our success. These moments together will infinitely linger as emotional blueprints within our own energy system interplay; an invisible current that continues to push us forward. For it is this current of community that fuels our conviction and shapes the brilliance of who we are becoming. 

We are good helmsmen, ready to navigate any storm. Even if the ship pitches wildly as we sail into the uncharted waters ahead, let us carry the energy, courage and kindness that have defined our years together. To the Class of 2025, let us take pride in our excellence. The world is not ready for us.
