The Senior Spring Concert in the first week of the term was a resounding success, showcasing an evening filled with exceptional musical moments. Audiences were treated to beautiful concerto performances by Aaron W (Year 12) and Matthew L (Year 11), whose artistry and expression captivated everyone in attendance.

The concert culminated in a grand finale performance of Defying Gravity, leaving the hall buzzing with energy and applause.

In total, over 250 students took part in this event - an extraordinary display of the talent, teamwork and dedication within our Senior ensembles.

We now look forward to the Junior and Middle School Spring Concert, which will take place next Thursday evening and promises another wonderful celebration of music and creativity.

Former student Hillary Z (Class of 2024) will be performing as a soloist with the Whitehorse Orchestra on the afternoon of Saturday 22 November at MLC. Hillary is in her first year of studies at the Melbourne Conservatorium of music and last year she has achieved the outstanding milestone of her LMusA. She will be performing Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, and we would like to encourage the Huntingtower community to come and support this fine performance.

On the evening of Friday 28 November, the spirit of Christmas will be celebrated with a community picnic/BBQ which provides the perfect backdrop to showcase our talented musicians. Students are encouraged to perform within their regular ensembles and work up a Christmas tune as a soloist or member of a group. The program will be curated through submitting an expression of interest at the link below.
