Senior Super Star

This fortnight's Bridgewater Senior Super Star is awarded to: Em Bailey

Em has demonstrated resilience and perseverance this week whilst remaining to be an excellent learner who is focused and on task. Excellent work Em!

PE PARTICIPANT OF THE MONTH

The Sport Award recognises students who demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship, active participation, and a positive attitude in all sporting activities. This award celebrates students who show teamwork, encouragement of others, and a willingness to try their best, regardless of the outcome. It reflects not only skill development, but also respect, fairness and a commitment to being a supportive and responsible team member.

ART AWARD 

This award recognises students who consistently demonstrate active participation, enthusiasm, and exceptional attention to detail in their artwork. It celebrates dedication to the creative process, a positive attitude toward learning, and a commitment to producing thoughtful artistic work.

And the winner for July is....

AUSLAN AWARD

The Auslan Award recognises students who actively participate in learning, show confidence in using signs and communication skills, and demonstrate persistence when learning new vocabulary and concepts. It celebrates students who engaging in Auslan lessons, support others in their learning and contribute positively to the class.

Aussie of the Month

The Aussie of the Month Award is the Principal's Award at Bridgewater Primary School. Selected by Mr. Lehane, it recognises a student who consistently demonstrates positive Aussie values such as respect, kindness, responsibility, resilience, fairness and helping others. The award celebrates students who lead by example and make a positive contribution to our school community.

And the winner for July is River. 

River always displays our schools values in everything she does, her kind and respectful nature has helped her become a valued member of our school community.

Happy Principals Day Mr. Lehane!

At Bridgewater Primary School, we are incredibly lucky to

have Mr. Lehane as our school principal. 

Mr. Lehane goes above and beyond in his role as Principal every

single day when it comes to supporting students, staff and families with a

genuine care, dedication and commitment. His passion for our school is shown in

everything he does, whether he’s greeting students in the morning, lending a

hand wherever he’s needed, supporting staff or checking in with families, no

task is ever too big or small.

Mr. Lehanes door is always open and his approachable and

caring nature makes him someone that anyone in our school community feels

comfortable to turn to. He leads our school with kindness, integrity and a

genuine belief in every child, creating a community that feels valued and

supported.

His dedication extends far beyond what you may expect of a

principal. He is constantly looking for ways to improve opportunities for our

students, strengthen our school community and ensure that Bridgewater

Primary School is a place where everyone belongs. 

Today, we would like to thank Mr. Lehane for his commitment,

leadership and the countless ways he makes our school such a special place. We

are beyond grateful for everything he does and are proud to celebrate him on

Principals Appreciation Day.
