MOE’S REPORT  24/02/2026

As my time at Kalinda comes to an end, I want to say thank you once again. Time flies, and this Friday (February 27th) will be my last day before I return to Japan. I truly appreciate the opportunity to teach and learn here. The past 10 months have been such a special time for me. My time at Kalinda has been one of the highlights of my life. I will miss you all. At the same time, I am excited to bring everything I have learned here back to Japan. I will tell my family and my students how amazing everyone at Kalinda is. Thank you so much for your kindness. I hope to see you again someday!

👗 The Renfrey Family

I stayed with the Renfreys during the first half of February. I was happy to get to know not only them, but also their extended family.

Everly, who is in Prep, and I played together every day. She is my little friend. I miss her saying, “Come with me!” with her cheeky smile. Charlotte, who is in G4, is good at everything - swimming, running, baking, and even funny dancing. The strawberry sandwiches we made were so good. I was also glad to hear Will, who graduated from Kalinda, say he loves his high school life while enjoying my cooking.

It was only two weeks, but I had so much fun with them.

🐶 The Collister Family

I have been staying with the Collisters.  I’m happy to be back after three months away.

My other little friend, Nora, especially welcomed me. She drew pictures of herself and me with our names on them. I put one of her drawings on the back of my phone, so I will never forget her. Thank you!

One of the exciting events was celebrating Chinese New Year with their friends. As I mentioned in our Japanese class, we also celebrate the year of the horse in Japan,  but we don’t have red pockets or fortune cookies, so it was very interesting.

I am grateful that I was able to make such wonderful memories with them at the end of my stay in Australia.
