Community Update

Welcome New Families

We warmly welcome both new and returning families to the College as we begin another vibrant year. It has been wonderful to see so many familiar and new faces, particularly at our recent Parent Welcome Morning Tea. We are excited to have so many new families joining our community this year and hope your daughters are settling in well, forming new friendships and feeling at home at Loreto. We look forward to meeting many of you in the coming weeks and getting to know you as part of our College community.

Parent Welcome Drinks

Friday 13 February | 6.00pm – 8.00pm

Please remember to register for our Parent Welcome Drinks on Friday 13 February at the Sunken Gardens in front of the Acacias Building. This is always a beautiful evening and a lovely opportunity to connect with other parents and families from your daughter's cohort and across the College. Autumn Fair 2026 – Our Biggest Community Event of the Year

Sunday 29 March | 11.00am–4.00pm

Mark your calendars for Loreto College’s Autumn Fair, our most anticipated community event of the year and the College’s largest biennial fundraiser. This much-loved celebration brings together students, families, old scholars and friends for a joyful day full of fun, connection and Loreto spirit.

On the day, guests can wander through a wide variety of stalls hosted by Loreto families and local external stallholders, offering everything from handmade goods and unique gifts to delicious treats. Children will be entertained with exciting rides, games, a petting zoo and interactive activities, while live entertainment throughout the day adds to the festive atmosphere.

For adults, there’s plenty to enjoy too: indulge in a delicious high tea, grab something tasty from our food stalls, or relax with friends at the bar. With something for every age and interest, the Autumn Fair is a day the whole family can enjoy together.

Autumn Fair Silent Auction

The Autumn Fair is more than just a fun day out, it plays a vital role in supporting Loreto College. One of the highlights of the event is our Silent Auction, and we warmly invite families and supporters to contribute. Donations of goods, services or experiences are greatly appreciated and make a meaningful difference to the success of the Fair.

Autumn Fair Sponsors

We also welcome interest from families and businesses who may like to be involved as Autumn Fair sponsors. Sponsorship packages offer a wonderful opportunity to support the College while gaining visibility within our vibrant Loreto community.

Whether you’re donating an auction item, exploring sponsorship, or simply coming along on the day, your involvement helps ensure the continued success of this special event.

Autumn Fair Planning Meeting Next Monday, 9 February at 6.00pm

Next Monday we’ll be holding a special Autumn Fair 2026 Planning Meeting, led by the P&F Committee. The meeting will take place in the Acacias Boardroom, and we warmly welcome all P&F members, class representatives, and parents to come along and be part of this exciting event. We hope to see you at the planning meeting as we start preparing for another exciting Autumn Fair in 2026.
