It is wonderful to be back in the Boarding House after our Cambridge Scholars’ Programme.
Year 8 Exchange Program
This week we had pleasure in hosting a Redlands School student from Sydney in the Boarding House as part of the Year 8 Exchange Program. We look forward to hosting students from Pymble Ladies College in the week commencing 18 August.
2025 Leadership
We wish our Year 11 boarders who are applying for Boarding Captain positions in 2025 the very best for their leadership applications and speeches on Thursday evening. We will wait with excitement and anticipation to see who will lead our Boarders’ voice in 2025.
QGSSSA Sport
If your child is in a QGSSSA team, they are committed to attend all training sessions, with early morning wake ups organised the night prior.
If your child is unwell or has sustained an injury which sees them unfit for training, they will be seen by the School Nurse on the morning of non-attendance to receive exemption from training that day.
Exhibition Day Holiday
Next Wednesday is a Public Holiday in Brisbane and we will be taking our Boarders to the Ekka for the day. We will travel to and from the Ekka via the train which is included in the entry ticket price. A sign-up sheet has been shared.
Friends of Boarding
Our next Friends of Boarding Zoom meeting will be held on Tuesday 27 August at 7:00pm. A meeting invitation will be sent one week prior to the meeting.
