WHAT A BUSY TERM 3 WE HAVE HAD!
Term 3 has been an incredibly busy one for the PFA, with four fantastic fundraising events, an amazing amount of community support and a huge step closer to our $50,000 fundraising goal.
We have laughed, eaten, dressed up, played, baked, raffled and celebrated together and we couldn’t be prouder of what our school community has achieved.
A BLAST FROM THE PAST!
Our 1950s themed dance/disco was a real blast from the past, with so many students dressing the part and getting into the spirit of the evening.
The students absolutely loved our 1950s Diner, complete with delicious hotdogs and freshly popped popcorn.
There were plenty of laughs with our hula hoop and limbo competitions, and of course, our fabulous Cadillac Photo Booth was a huge hit!
We finished the evening with a delicious 70th birthday cookie from Miss Cookielicious, the perfect take home treat to remember such a special celebration.
We are incredibly grateful for their support of our school community.

Their amazing contribution helped us create so many of the special features that made the evening possible from our decorations and food to the take-home treats enjoyed by our students..

FATHER’S DAY STALL, BBQ AND RAFFLE
Next came our fabulous Father’s Day celebrations, and once again our school community showed just how generous and supportive they are.
We received so many donations of the chocolates we had requested to create our very special Father’s Day Chocolate Sayings Cards.
Thanks to these wonderful donations, we were able to create 120 cards in four different variations for our students to choose from.
Our Father’s Day Stall was also a huge success, with children carefully selecting a special present for Dad, Grandad or another significant person in their lives.
SNAGS WITH DAD!
Our BBQ was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together, enjoy a snag and spend some time playing the garden games set up around our hard court area.
There was something for everyone, including:
● Bowling
● Jenga
● Noughts & Crosses
● Cornhole
● Bottle Flipping
● Glider Plane Flying
● A Where’s Wally Hunt
It was wonderful to see our school community coming together, enjoying the afternoon and making memories.

GRANDPARENTS DAY & BAKE SALE
Last but certainly not least was our wonderful Grandparents Day and Bake Sale.
This was our first time trialling a bake sale, and to say it was a success would be a huge understatement!
We wanted to see whether a bake sale was something worth continuing next year and the answer is definitely YES!
Our gorgeous grandparents and students helped us raise an incredible:

WE ARE GETTING SO CLOSE!
This term alone, our fundraising efforts have added an incredible:
$6,200 to our $50,000 fundraising goal.
Our current fundraising total is now: $35,000
That means we are getting so close to our goal of raising $50,000 towards upgrading our existing playground and/or adding new play equipment for our students.
We couldn’t have come this far without the incredible support of our school families, students, grandparents, local businesses and wider community.
Every raffle ticket purchased, chocolate donated, cake baked, event attended, prize donated and dollar raised is helping us create something special for the children of Cranbourne South Primary School.
TERM 4 GET READY TO GET COLOURFUL!
THE MONTY THE MONSTAR FUN RUN
THURSDAY 6 NOVEMBER
Our next big event is already on the horizon and it’s going to be big, colourful and lots of fun!
This year we are excited to be bringing you a Monty the Monstar Fun Run, while continuing our fundraising mission to improve our playground and add new equipment for our students.
WHAT’S IN STORE?
This year’s Colour Run will feature:
● Fun Run
● Exciting obstacle course
● Free sunglasses
● Free headbands
● Slime stations
● Foam stations
● Plenty of colour
● Lots of fun!
There will be a $10 participation cost this year.
We are also excited to be working with a new fundraising company, Australian Fundraising.
FUNDRAISING KICKS OFF THIS WEEK!
An information flyer will be sent home with your child before the end of term.
Getting involved is super easy.
Students will be able to set up their fundraising profile and share it with family and friends to collect online donations.
There are also awesome prizes and Monty Coins to earn along the way.
Raise just $10 to unlock your first prize, then the more you raise, the more prizes you can mix, match and choose from.
So let’s get behind our students, get those fundraising pages shared and SMASH OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL!

What an incredible Term 3.
From our 1950s dance to Father’s Day, our raffle and our very first bake sale the PFA has been blown away by the support from our school community.
We are now sitting at: $35,000 RAISED
JUST $15,000 TO GO! To reach our $50,000 GOAL!
And with the Monty the Monstar Fun Run coming in Term 4, we know we can get there.
