Welcome back for our final term of 2023. As you can see from the dates list, we have a lot happening this term.
Parents, please note there are two student free days, plus the Melbourne Cup Public Holiday. We also finish on Tuesday 19th December, however, staff are required to attend a professional learning day on Wednesday 20th. We felt this would lessen the interruption to the school term.
Next Monday, our Year 5/6 students have been invited to attend a presentation from the Dolly's Dream organisation. Dolly’s Dream is committed to changing the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families. The information our students receive will be targeted at their age level. This opportunity has been made available through the support of Vic Police, APEX and Beaufort Secondary College.
Congratulations to Reece and Milly, who competed at Regional Athletics last Friday. Both students did an amazing job and should be very proud of their achievements, coming in 4th in their events of discus (Reece) and 200m (Milly).
Next week we send our Year 3/4 students off to camp. We hope they have an amazing time, and we can't wait to hear about their adventures.
