What a wonderful start we have had for Term 4! It was fabulous seeing everyone's smiling faces and hearing about their fantastic holiday.
In Mathematics, the students have been exploring transformation. The students got to bust out their dances moves and show the teachers their best flips, turns and slides in the classroom. We designed our own skateboards using icy pole sticks, and got our flips, slides and turns on!
In Literacy, we have started looking at persuasive texts and their features, and reading about how important bees are to the environment.
We have started looking at the environment, geographic features and the community around us in integrated studies, and we are looking forward to creating our very own island! We had a fantastic game of hide and seek in the school yard, where we looked at the features in our school that helped us play our game, be fit and active and participate in our community.
