Mathematics Enrichment
2023 Results and Awards
In 2023, some of our Primary and Secondary students participated in a mathematics enrichment program.
The Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) was held in August. Primary and Secondary students participated in the problem solving competition that demonstrated the importance and relevance of mathematics in students’ everyday lives.
Secondary students participated in the Computational and Algorithmic Thinking (CAT) competition, which was held in May, a one-hour problem solving task, testing logical thought and application of algorithms.
Our students excelled in both these events, and we are proud to publish their fine achievements. Congratulations goes to all our 2023 participants.
A special mention goes to Abigail Lee in Year 7, who achieved High Distinctions in both competitions and to Megan McCormick in Year 6 who obtained Best in School for the Australian Mathematics Competition.
