Grade 4 Report

A Zootastic Day!

On Friday, 7th August, our Grade 4 students had a fantastic day exploring Werribee Open Range Zoo.

The highlight of the excursion was without a doubt our exciting Safari Tour, where we got up close to some amazing animals, including giraffes, ostriches, wild horses, rhinos, camels and a variety of antelopes. We learned more about their habitats and how they survive in the wild. We also took part in an engaging educational session, where students explored food chains and life cycles, helping to connect our classroom learning with the real world.

During our free time, students enjoyed exploring the zoo and seeing a variety of incredible animals, including gorillas, hippos, monkeys and lions. It was wonderful to see the students' excitement and curiosity as they discovered more about each animal.

A big thank you to all the staff and parent helpers who helped make the day such a memorable experience. It was an awesome day of learning, exploring and having fun!
