Grade 1 Report

Grade 1 students are about to begin an exciting new topic exploring Forces! 

During this topic we will be describing pushes and pulls in terms of their strength and direction and predicting how these forces impact the motion and shape of objects.

Our Key Inquiry Question is - Can a push or a pull change an object’s shape or the way it moves? 

To launch our learning, we enjoyed a special Billy Cart Incursion, where students investigated how pushes, pulls, movement and different forces can affect the way objects move. 

It was a fun and engaging experience that helped us get started with our new topic and develop our understanding of forces.
