Alumnus keynote speaker

We recently had the immense pleasure of welcoming Koonung Secondary College alumnus Henry Andrew (Class of 2020) to the College. 

Henry delivered a fantastic keynote speech to our Middle School students at assembly, about his study and career pathway since graduating from Koonung Secondary College.

After Henry graduated from Koonung, he completed a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and a Certificate IV in Patisserie at William Angliss Institute. Whilst studying, Henry worked as a kitchen hand at the infamous LUNE croissanterie in Fitzroy and upon graduating from William Angliss transitioned to a full-time pastry chef role at LUNE. 

He is now working as a pastry chef at ‘All Are Welcome’ and is thoroughly enjoying his role and loves his team. Life is good!

Henry's insights and experiences provided invaluable guidance and inspiration to our students as they begin to consider their own futures.
