Year 9 & 10 French excursion

Excursion : A l’écoute de Melbourne
Last week, Year 9 and 10 French students went on a CBD audio walking tour in French that took them through the streets of the city to discover some fascinating and little-known facts about its history and its laneways.
They learnt about the origins, landmarks and emblems of our beautiful city and completed comprehension activities in a booklet as they followed the itinerary.
Students were all able to order their lunch in French at Roule Galette, Waffe On or Café Aix. They were extremely proud of themselves!
Our French Language Assistant, Isabel, was with us to support students in completing the tasks. We all thoroughly enjoyed our French day in the city !

“ L’excursion était très amusant et nous nous sommes amusés avec nos amis. C’était intéressant d’apprendre sur tout les informations différentes de Melbourne Notre moment préféré était manger le déjeuner au restaurant de gauffre. « L’excursion était assez amusant. Et nous sommes allez a la restaurant de crêpes. C’était très délicieux! Mon moment préfère était marcher sur le Block Arcade,L’architecture était très beau. » - Alan
« j'ai aimé l'excursion et comment nous sommes allés en ville pendant toute la journée, en utilisant le français avec mes amis. Mon moment préféré a été lorsque mes amis se sont amusés à répondre aux questions et que nous avons tous commandé la même crêpe et le même banh mi. » - Logan
