Mr Brendan and Ms Ashleigh
On Tuesday, we gathered as a school community to observe National Reconciliation Week. Our class Fire Carriers, Jett B and Xavier S, did a wonderful job helping to lead our prayer service.
Together, we reflected on the profound importance of this week in Australia - a time to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements. The students spent time considering what reconciliation means to them personally and how we can all contribute to achieving a just and equitable future for all Australians.

A friendly reminder that the permission form for our Year 3/4 Camp is now available on nForma.
Please ensure you log in to nForma to complete the digital permission and update any medical details as soon as possible. This is essential for our final planning and to ensure all students are ready for our departure on June 25th. If you are having any trouble accessing the form, please contact the office for assistance.
We are moving into some hands-on and practical units in Mathematics this fortnight.
Year 4: Length, Area, and Perimeter
The Year 4s will be exploring the physical world through measurement. We will be:
Year 3: Data and Investigation
The Year 3s will be becoming young statisticians! Our focus will be on:
We have been working incredibly hard on our current Inquiry unit, 'Our Island Home.' After weeks of immersion and research, the students are now well underway with the planning and preparation of their final projects.
The students will be applying everything they have learnt this term - from geographical features to the diverse cultures of our region - to put together their project. It will be wonderful to see them transforming their new knowledge into creative pieces, and we look forward to sharing their hard work with you at the end of term showcase!

Congratulations to all the Year 3 and 4 students who represented our school at last week’s District Cross Country. We are all so proud of your efforts and sportsmanship!
A massive congratulations to Matthea C, who finished 5th in her event. This is an incredible achievement! Matthea will now go on to represent our school at the Divisional event in Hastings on Wednesday, June 3rd. We wish her the very best of luck!
For the Year 4 students who represented our school in track or field athletics earlier this term: we are still awaiting the final results. We should find out shortly if any students have qualified for the next level at the Mornington event, which takes place in early Term 4.
Kind regards,
Brendan and Ashleigh.
