Prep - Year 3 Swimming

Our Prep students had an amazing time attending swimming for the very first time! From the moment they arrived, there was a buzz of excitement as they embraced this new experience with enthusiasm and confidence.

Throughout the program, students not only developed their swimming skills but also learned important life skills. They practised moving safely from the bus to the pool, showing great responsibility and awareness. They also worked hard on becoming more independent by learning how to get changed quickly and manage their belongings.

Most importantly, our Preps made fantastic progress in the water, building their confidence and improving their swimming abilities. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces and a real sense of achievement. We are so proud of their efforts and can’t wait to see their skills continue to grow!

Year 1 and 2

Last week, our Year 1 and 2 students took part in an engaging swimming program at the Blackburn Aquatic Centre. The instructors offered clear, patient instruction, creating a supportive environment that helped every child make noticeable progress in their water‑safety skills and swimming confidence. Students were excited throughout the week and genuinely enjoyed each lesson, approaching every session with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. It was also wonderful to see them showing growing independence — getting themselves dressed and undressed, organising their belongings, and taking responsibility for their things. Their effort, independence, and joy in learning made the program a real success.
