Writing in Year Two

This term, we have settled well into Year Two and have been working very hard across all areas of our learning. In Writing, students have been focusing on Information Reports, exploring a country of their choice or one that reflects their cultural background. Throughout this unit, we have been learning about the key features of information reports, including clear titles, informative subtitles, well structured paragraphs and the use of accurate, factual information. Students have also been developing their research skills by using iPads to locate and record important facts to support their writing. It has been wonderful to see their engagement, curiosity and pride in sharing information about different countries from around the world. We are very proud of the effort students have put into their writing and the progress they have made this term.
