On Sunday the cast and crew spent 5 hours rehearsing Oliver! They will practice again this coming Sunday and continue with their usual weekly 4-hour rehearsals leading up to the performances.
The show will be the climax of months of dedicated practice, learning and creativity!

Festival of Music – Concert 1 - A Celebration of Strings
It’s not too late to get your ticket for the first concert in the Festival of Music Concert series. Join our talented young string musicians, (and Orffestra) for an evening showcasing students from beginners through to advanced performers.
Featuring a diverse program of classical favourites, contemporary works and collaborative performances, this concert celebrates the dedication, growth and joy of making music together. A wonderful evening for families and music lovers alike.
Victorian Schools Music Festival
Congratulations to the String performers who took to the Hawthorn Arts Centre stage to participate in the VSMF. Being in a musical ensemble is the ultimate “team” experience. Students work for an authentic deadline and as they do, they support their peers and appreciate the thrill of group success.
We thank the parents who attended and the dedicated staff who made attendance at the event possible.
