As always, we love catching up with news from our former Collegians.
It was great to meet up with so many of our Old Boys and their families during our recent Open Day. It is amazing to think that despite the years, many of our former students do not seem to have changed too much! They are still easily identifiable, and they always love to reminisce about their former teachers, their mates, and special memories from their time at the College. Meeting the next generation of students to enter Mazenod College is always magnificent, too!

Congratulations to the Mazenod Old Collegians Cricket Club First XI for winning the grand final Last Sunday! This was an outstanding result, as they topped off a great season with some silverware. Well-played Nodders! Along with us all, our very own Fr Kevin Davine OMI was delighted!
Both of us and our MOCA Committee are always available to chat, or to assist our Old Boys in their times of need. In recent weeks, we have been blessed to support our Old Collegians who are experiencing illness in their families, as well as, Old Collegians who have experienced the deaths of loved ones. We seek to support one another by our prayers, friendship and actions.
We are always keen to promote our Old Collegians and their professions, businesses and trades. Please feel free to contact us at Mazenod College. We will include these in our Mazenod College Newsletter, The Mazenod Gazette, as well as on our Alumnly Website and on our Mazenod Old Collegians’ Association Facebook page.
An integral part of MOCA is our involvement with our Sporting Clubs.
It has been a busy and exciting start to pre-season for Mazenod FC, with our teams back on the training pitch preparing for the upcoming 2026 season. Across the club, players have been training two to three times per week at our temporary home, Gladeswood Reserve, while we eagerly await our return to Brandon Park Reserve and the opportunity to enjoy our brand-new pavilion facilities.
The energy and enthusiasm across the club has been fantastic as our coaches and players have been making the most of the pre-season period, focusing on skill development, fitness, and building strong team connections.
Several of our junior teams have also been competing in the pre-season Youth Super Cup, with our Under 8, 9, 12, 13, 15 and 17 squads proudly representing the club. The tournament has provided a great opportunity for players to gain valuable match experience, sharpen their skills, and continue building chemistry with their teammates ahead of the 2026 season.
It has been wonderful to see so many young players enjoying their football and representing the club with pride, and we look forward to another exciting season ahead for Mazenod FC.
