Parents & Friends Association

Following on from a successful Mazenod Open Day, where members of our P&FA served tea, coffee, cordial and cupcakes to potential students and their families, we gathered for our first meeting of 2026.

It was a great privilege to be addressed by Dr Paul Shannon who gave us a thorough run down of the Mazenod Strategic Plan including upcoming changes for 2027.  We sincerely thank Dr Shannon for his time and for addressing our questions and concerns in detail.

We have welcomed 22 new members since our last meeting in October 2025, most of them new Yr 7 parents and it was wonderful to see a number of them present at last week's meeting!  Our Mazenod P&FA continues to grow in strength from year to year and we look forward to another busy year of assisting the school, making connections and building community.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser

A huge thank you to all who purchased tubs of cookie dough.  Sons of the P&FA went into competition mode and battled it out be the top 4 highest tub sellers!  Thank you one and all for your efforts, together we sold 224 tubs and raised $896, which will be donated to assist the Oblate Missions.

Students can collect their orders on Mission Action Day - Thurs April 2nd. If they have a large order please ensure they bring bags to assist with transportation!

Save the date!

Our first Rosary Workshop will take place at Mazenod on Monday May 4th at 7pm.  We are once again grateful to Mr Robert Zaar for his time and dedication in teaching the art of rosary making to those in our community who wish to learn.   All are welcome, you don't need to be part of the P&FA to attend - in the past 2 years we have welcomed mums, aunts, grandmas, friends and sisters.

We welcome all parents and carers. Please register to join the association and be part of this growing group of parents who seek to be more engaged and part of the Mazenod life!
