On Thursday 13 November 2025, we hosted our annual Year 7 G Day, a joyful celebration dedicated to grandparents and other 'great' people who play such an important role in the lives of our students. G Day offers Year 7 students the chance to honour the love, guidance, and support of their grandparents, parents, carers, aunts, uncles, and other special people.
The afternoon began with a liturgy and blessing, followed by a music concert showcasing the talents of Year 7 students. Guests then enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea.
We were also delighted to welcome guests from Harbison Aged Care, and it was wonderful to include our special neighbours in the celebration.

On Thursday 20 November 2025, Chevalier College proudly hosted its Volunteers Thank You Evening at Hastings at the Bowral Golf Club, to honour the many individuals who give so generously of their time and talents to enrich the life of our College.
The evening was a chance to celebrate the extraordinary contributions of our volunteers. From running the Saturday sport BBQs, scoring at games, and refereeing matches, to transforming McGrath Hall for milestone events like the Presentation Ball and Valedictory Dinner, assisting with musicals, and supporting countless other activities, these acts of service bring joy, connection, and vitality to our community.
Guests enjoyed drinks and nibbles in a relaxed atmosphere, with Greg Miller addressing the gathering, offering gratitude and acknowledging the vital role volunteers play. Their commitment ensures that Chevalier remains a vibrant, welcoming, and thriving community.

Our final community event for 2025 was Carols on the Meadow, bringing together students, families, and the wider community for an evening of music, joy, and festive cheer.
This year’s celebration featured Mariah Carey‑themed carols, performed by our talented Chevalier College students (and staff!) Guests enjoyed the magic of live music outdoors, followed by a spectacular fireworks display that lit up the sky. Adding to the festive atmosphere were food trucks offering delicious treats and rides for the kids, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Carols on the Meadow was more than just an event - it was a chance for our community to come together, celebrate the season, and share in the joy of Christmas. What a wonderful way to finish the year!
A huge thank you to our business supporters who helped bring the event to life.
