SIM update

SIM program

Chevalier celebrates its second year of the SIM program. In doing so we were able to grow the Milestone moments that are associated with the program and celebrate students. 

On November 17th our Year 9 cohort were fortunate enough to present  Sharing My SIM. Over the last 2 years students have worked on unpacking who they are through identifying their Strengths, Interest and Motivations. This year they turned those into project work with culminated into term 4 presentation of Sharing who they are to their class and an external community employer. 

On November 24th our Year 7 Cohort had the opportunity to present their SIM in a exhibition style event where other students, parents and staff were encouraged to walk around McGrath Hall and learn about each of our wonderful students through a represented “artefact” or E-book.

This was an incredible milestone event for all of the students as they shared who they are, quite a vulnerable task for many. We congratulate all the students in their participation and staff who applied themselves to help inspire and shape these young adults.
