Key Dates for 5/6 students and families

• 23rd October - Grandparents Day
• 23rd October - Division Cricket (selected students only)
• 28th October – Bendigo Cup Public Holiday
• 30th October – Be Awesome Day

Important Information

We are continuing to develop students’ resilience and encourage consistent homework routines. Homework alternates each week, with Reading and Maths assigned in odd-numbered weeks, and Reading and Talk Homework in even-numbered weeks. We would greatly appreciate your support in establishing and maintaining these routines at home, helping students develop responsibility and independence in their learning.

Over the next fortnight:

• We will be getting ready for our ‘Side Show Alley’ for Be Awesome Day
• Grade 6’s will be preparing for Graduation
• Grade 5’s will be learning about ‘Stop Motion’ in STEAM
• We will be continuing to study our Tim Winton novel ‘Blueback’ 
• We will be completing our Mathematics unit on Cartesian Planes and beginning our unit on Algebra.
