Barista Training for our Year 12 VM Students

On Tuesday 10th February our Year 12 Vocational Major (VM) students undertook an excursion to Bean Around Town in Bayswater to complete barista training. This is in preparation for their running of the Senior School café (freshly launched as 'Chewsday') in 2026. 

Training included completing worksheets on the anatomy of an espresso machine and grinder, learning how the different types of coffee are put together, and practical experience in expressing coffee and texturing milk.

A big thank you to Bean Around Town for their expertise, training and some great rounds of air hockey!
