Faith Leadership Team

During Welcome Week, on the Thursday morning, students from Years 7 to 9 gathered to eat, connect, and pray together. Our amazing Faith Leadership Team hosted a Prayer Breakfast for Welcome Week, and everyone was invited. Although the pancake mix and juice were simple and inexpensive, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the students absolutely loved it. It just goes to show that sometimes the simplest things can have the biggest impact.

As students lined up, some of our student leaders walked along the queue asking if there was anything they would like prayer for, and let’s just say many sick grandparents and pets were blessed that day. It is estimated that around 200 pancakes were cooked and more than 100 students were fed. Great fellowship took place, and God was honoured in the process.

Community events like this are invaluable for building a positive atmosphere and a culture where people feel at home, happy, and welcomed.
