On Tuesday 21 October author Adam Wallace came to speak to the students about the release of his brand new book (graphic novel) Hatman. Adam spoke to the students about generating ideas for story writing and about how easy it is to draw great illustrations. The students found Adam so engaging and they are looking forward to getting into some story writing of their own! Thanks Adam

Last Tuesday, Andrew Chinn worked with the students and presented many of his well known Faith songs for the school. The junior and senior school participated in a workshop with Andrew across the day and then we all attended the afternoon concert. It was so much fun and the kids all enjoyed a sing and a dance. Andrew is a great friend of ours and we look forward to seeing him each and every time he visits SFX. Thank you to the families who were able to come along. When we attend Mass next week we will be singing one of our songs from the concert: Rise Up!

Students created some posters showcasing what makes them unique and special.

Next Tuesday, 28 October the Year 3/4s will be attending Mass at St Francis Xavier church beginning at 9:15am. You are more than welcome to come and join us in prayer! Children who volunteer for or who are selected for readings will need to practise their prayers at home. Please be on time next Tuesday as we will be leaving for Mass by 9:00am
Have a great week ahead! Well done 3/4D for all your hard work!
Kind regards,
Mrs. Debbie Terry and Miss Becc
