At St Francis Xavier School

Greetings St Francis Xavier Families,

What a wonderful experience last week when Andrew Chinn brightened our day with his songs, music and humour.  It was such a pleasure to share the enthusiasm and joy exuded by our children as they sang with Andrew and watched each others' performances during our concert. I'm sure all family guests, who were able to attend, will agree it was a very special afternoon.  A huge thank you to all our wonderful student performers and to our brilliant staff who assisted the children practise and prepare for Andrew's visit.

Prayer Back Packs

This term the Year 2 students are trialing our Prayer Backpacks.  The backpacks contain a variety of faith based activities to take home and enjoy individually or with their families. 

Some of the contents include, prayers and meditations, colouring, letter writing and stories.

I'm looking forward to receiving feedback from the Year 2s regarding what they thought of the activities and determining which ones we should send home to classes next year.

Class Masses

Term 4 Class Masses are on the following dates at 9:15am at St Francis Xavier Church:

Tuesday 28th October   Year 3/4

Thursday 6th November Prep + Yr 1/2

Thursday 13th November Year 5/6

Tuesday 3rd December - Whole School - St Francis Xavier Feast Day

Our end of year mass is on Tuesday, 16th December at 1:45pm.
