Maths 

In Maths the Preps explored the concept of data. They chose a question and then the Preps went to collect data from several students, and then used the data to answer yes/no questions. The students also used the data to answer more and less questions. 

Education in Faith 

In Education in Faith, the Preps listened to The Parable of the Sower. Together, we discussed the different kinds of soil and made connections to our own lives. The students shared what seeds need to grow and suggested ways to nurture kindness in their hearts. To symbolise the growth of love, kindness, and the Word of God, the students planted daisy seeds (representing God’s Word and kindness) in healthy soil (representing their hearts). Over the next few weeks, they will be watching their 'love, kindness and the Word of God' grow. 

The Prep students will be sharing photos about the various activities from their Science Works excursion. In addition, they will be singing their favourite song 'The Hope of the World is Jesus'. Please join us on Tuesday, 28 October at 2:30 in the Red Centre.
