Where does the time go? We are now on the downward slide towards the Term 3-4 holidays. It has certainly been a busy term, and the school has been abuzz with learning and teaching. Students across all year levels continue to make the most of the numerous opportunities available to them. 

🎓 Year 12 Pathways 🎓 

For our Year 12 students, this term is particularly significant as they navigate their post-secondary pathways. With University open days, career conversations, and important choices ahead, it’s crucial to stay informed and seek support. Remember, Mr. Harms and your teachers are here to guide you. Don’t hesitate to ask for references if you need them—support is just a question away. 

For those pursuing a university pathway, please take note of these key dates from VTAC: 

Timely applications: Submit by 30 September 2024 (5pm) 

SEAS applications and supporting documentation: Submit by 11 October 2024 (5pm) 

Scholarship applications and supporting documentation: Submit by 11 October 2024 (5pm) 

📊 NAPLAN Results 📊 

The 2024 NAPLAN results have now been distributed to all parents and carers. If you have any concerns about your child’s performance or haven’t yet received the report, please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s English or Maths teacher, or the admin team for any missing reports.  

📚 2025 Subject Selections 📚 

All students have submitted their subject choices, and we are now generating the 2025 timetable. A big thank you to all students, parents and carers, teachers, and faculty leaders for helping to make this a smooth process. Your cooperation has been invaluable. Also, a big thank you to Miss Keath, for whom this is a busy time of year.  

Students will receive their confirmed subjects as soon as this process is complete. It’s an unwieldy beast, so I can't give you a specific date for when this will happen just yet, but rest assured, we’re working hard to finalise everything. 

⏳ Year 12 Countdown ⏳ 

As of today, Friday, August 23, there are just 44 school days remaining until Year 12 students finish up their Monivae career. Make every moment count!
