Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

During Core Literacy Skills, 4A have been learning that the letter y can sometimes make the /i/ sound in certain words. We have also been practising how to spell words using a range of different letter–sound combinations.
Students in 3A have been working hard to form their letters correctly. This week, they have focused on accurately writing uppercase letters using their whiteboards.
We have been learning about decision making, how to make good choices, and how our actions can have consequences. Students drew a superhero and explained how they can make positive decisions at school and in the community.
4B completes a Friday fluency computation activity consisting of mixed addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division questions. Students have 3 minutes to answer as many questions as possible before marking their work.
3B have been exploring how to navigate changing friendships and develop strategies to resolve challenges during Social and Emotional Learning. They practised these skills through role-play activities and then performed their scenarios for the class.
