Year 1 & 2

What a busy and exciting few weeks we have had leading up to Production…

Over the past two weeks, students explored the importance of special people in their lives. In preparation for Father’s Day, students created thoughtful gifts to show appreciation for their fathers and other special people in their lives, reflecting on the different ways we can show care and gratitude. Students also explored animal habitats and investigated how animals’ features help them survive in their environments in preparation for our upcoming Melbourne Zoo visit. 

In Wellbeing, students explored hope, goal setting and perseverance. They identified personal goals and discussed strategies to overcome different challenges and keep trying. Students also reflected on the people and things they value, and explored ways to show care and appreciation through their actions.

Kaleb L of Year 1 and Rafe L of Year 2 will each receive a certificate at assembly for adding many books they have read to the Reading Challenge website.

Celebrating our Students
