What's On In 3/4

Maths Monday

On 23rd March, we celebrated World Maths Day, and the Year 3/4 students had a fantastic time engaging in a range of exciting mathematical activities. They were introduced to KenKen puzzles, which challenged their problem-solving and logical thinking skills. Students also participated in a fun and interactive maths scavenger hunt, where they explored a variety of concepts including time, shapes, patterns, number, and algebra. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, teamwork, and perseverance as they applied their learning in such an engaging way.

Athletics 

On 25th March, we held our Senior Athletics Day at the Ringwood Little Athletics Centre. Students arrived proudly dressed in their house colours and made their way to the track, ready for an exciting day ahead.

Throughout the day, students demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and teamwork. They participated in a variety of events, including shot put, discus, long jump, triple jump, and the 100m and 200m sprints. It was a fun-filled and energetic day enjoyed by all.

A big thank you to Mrs Avery for her organisation of the event, as well as to our parent volunteers for their valuable support in making the day such a success.

Harmony Day

Harmony Day was celebrated on Saturday 21st March. At Whitehorse Primary, we marked the occasion on Friday 20th March by celebrating cultural diversity and promoting inclusiveness, respect, and a strong sense of belonging for everyone.belongs and that our diversity makes our community stronger.
