Week 3
Week 3 was another fun-filled and active week as we continued exploring our “Move Masters” theme! The children were full of energy and enthusiasm, getting involved in a wide range of creative, physical, and hands-on experiences.
Our Breakfast Club kept everyone fuelled for the day with a delicious variety including smoothie pops, blueberry muffins, apple cinnamon pancakes, waffles with fresh berries, and DIY flavoured milk, where children loved creating their own unique combinations!
In the afternoons, our Snack Squad was tasty and exciting, serving up burrito bowls, cracker and dip platters, sushi bowls, butter potato curry with rice, and DIY taco boats. There was something for everyone, and it was great to see children trying new flavours and enjoying meals together.
Creativity was on full display this week with a range of Move Masters-inspired activities. Children enjoyed making sports bracelets, origami balloon balls, completing Olympic-themed word searches and sports colourings, clay creations, as well as getting hands-on with cardboard vehicles and colourful 3D fluffy paintings.
Our physical activities kept everyone moving and engaged. Highlights included a competitive Gaga Ball contest, a fun tennis tournament, group games, hide and seek tag, Night at the Museum, Red Light Green Light, and Octopus. These games encouraged teamwork, coordination, and lots of laughter!
For our Brain Boosters, children got involved in baking their own rainbow M&M cookies, explored science through a STEM volcano experiment, and continued designing and building their cardboard vehicles, combining creativity with problem-solving skills.
A standout favourite this week was definitely our new mini air hockey table, which quickly became a popular activity and brought out some friendly competition among the children!
Overall, it was a fantastic week full of movement, creativity, and connection. We’re looking forward to continuing the fun next week!

Pupil Free Day
There is a Pupil Free Day on Friday 05 June 2026.
MOUNT PLEASANT ROAD VIC OSHCLUB will be open from 7.00am to 6.00pm for any families who want to book in.
To book, log in to your Parent Portal and select the Pupil Free Day Room.
Please Bring:
- Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea
- Appropriate footwear and clothing (including a hat) for your child
Important to Note:
- The session fee is $72.94 (before any applicable Child Care Subsidy).
- Bookings can not be made online within 48 hours of the session commencing.
- All regular Before and After School Care bookings have been removed for this date.
- To avoid out-of-pocket costs, cancellation of a Pupil Free Day booking must be made at least 7 days before the session start time.
- A $4.17 late booking fee applies for bookings made within 5 days of the session commencing.

Enrolling Your Child
For new enrolments, please go to https://www.oshclub.com.au/register/
A helpful video for navigating the iParent Portal and completing the enrolment process can be found on this page.
Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.
Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:25pm to avoid a non-notified absence fee of $20.00 per child.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
