School Wide Positive Behaviour Support Framework

Our Journey So Far
This year, our SWPBS (School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support) Team has been working collaboratively to strengthen and support positive behaviour practices across our school community.
So far, we have revised and implemented a more cohesive behaviour response model to encourage consistent expectations for all students across the school. The SWPBS Team have also engaged in exciting professional learning opportunities to deepen our understanding of positive behaviour support and effective wellbeing practices.
As a staff cohort, we have been reviewing our school values, ensuring they reflect our shared educational and wellbeing ideals. This process has begun with staff and will soon be extended to our SRC then student body, before consulting more broadly with the wider school community. We value the importance of student and community voice as we shape the future direction of our school values together.
This important work will help guide the way we learn, connect, and grow together as a school community. We are excited to continue this journey and look forward to sharing more updates with you throughout the year.
If you are interested in learning more about SWPBS or supporting our journey you could consider joining the Education subcommittee of school council, you don't need to be a member of school council to join a subcommittee. Please email leanne.evenden@education.vic.gov.au for more information.
