Year 4s Gingerbread Houses

A Sweet Tradition at CSPS

The Year 4 students have once again brought a beloved tradition to life by building their gingerbread houses! This hands-on project has been a part of CSPS for years, and it continues to be a highlight for every student. Each year, the students dive into the creative process, carefully constructing their edible masterpieces and decorating them with festive flair. The excitement is contagious as they dive into decorating, with candy canes, marshmallows, and sprinkles flying. While some houses look like sugary masterpieces, others end up as leaning towers of frosting. As the sugar rush kicks in, there’s more laughter than building, but it’s all part of the fun. At the end of the day, the gingerbread houses might be a little messy, but they’re full of sweet memories—until the sugar crash hits. It's clear that this annual experience is one that every Year 4 student looks forward to.
