Prep/1 Area

What an exciting day the Prep and Year One students had on Friday 6th September. With scavenger hunts, making playdoh, directed drawings of Pig the Pug, Just Dance and Yoga and craft activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy. We completed these activities in mixed groups from Prep to Year 2, which was a great opportunity for the students to get to know other students in different year levels. 

After a very busy camp day, the Year One’s could hardly wait to come back to school in their pjs at 5pm to play games with their friends. They had pizza for dinner and some fresh fruit while chatting with the Year twos also. The evening went by in a flash and before we knew it, it was 7pm and time to go home with a Zooper dooper in hand and a well earnt rest after a wonderful day!

Some our our students' thoughts were:

Lottie – My favourite thing was playing with the playdough.

Pammy – I loved eating pizza for dinner.

Jai – I liked the scavenger hunt because we got to find things.

Millie – My favourite thing to do was the scavenger hunt because my group was the fastest and we won!

Iris – My favourite part was when I got my hair braided by Miss Evans.

Max – It was fun when I got to draw Pig the Pug.

Tom – I loved playing with the Lego.

Ivy – I liked making the origami dogs. 

Alexandra – I liked making the playdough.

Ayla: I loved doing the scavenger hunt. You had to find things and work as a team.

Spencer: We got to make playdough. I got to choose the colour. 

AJ: I liked when we made playdough. I liked the feel of it.

Claudia: I liked making playdough.

Dion: I liked doing the Just Dance because I like dancing. 

Elyse: I liked doing the scavenger hunt because I liked finding things at school.
