Tile Wall Project – A Heartfelt Thank You 🎨

Our beautiful tiles have now been officially installed, and we couldn’t be happier with the final result.

This PA project began at the end of Term 2, and although many have been eagerly awaiting the tiles going up, there has been a continuous effort behind the scenes to bring everything together.

A special thank you goes to Mrs Baum for coordinating the student artwork, supporting each child through the creative process, and preparing the wall art mock-up in time for our 100-year celebration. Your creativity and dedication were invaluable.

We would also like to acknowledge the many families who generously donated a tile. Your kindness ensured that every student and teacher had the opportunity to take part in this project. The community spirit has been truly wonderful to see.

A massive thank you also to the Maaskant family, especially Paul, who dedicated multiple weekends to installing the tiles. Your time, effort, and commitment helped ensure the project was completed on schedule.

Thank you as well to the school and the PA for supporting this meaningful project. The finished wall will stand as a lasting time stamp of our school’s 100-year milestone.

For those who ordered "Take-home Tiles", these are now available for collection from the office. Due to their fragile nature, we kindly ask parents to collect these in person.

YRPS Colour Run – One Week to Go! 🌈 

Our Colour Fun Run is happening next Friday, and we’re so excited! As our biggest fundraiser of the year, every sign-up and every donation helps us continue working towards providing 1:1 laptops for all students each year. Every little bit truly helps.

Once you’ve created a fundraising profile, head back to the platform and log in with your details. From there, you’ll find your child’s personal link or QR code to share with family and friends.

Cash donations are absolutely welcome and still count towards both your child’s individual total and their classroom tally. Simply pop into the office staff will record your child’s name and class.

We are also still seeking parent helpers for the day. If you’re available, we would love to have you join us. It’s a vibrant, fun-filled community event and for our Grade 6 students, it marks their final colour lap at YRPS, making it extra special.
