Drama & Theatre Studies Wrap

Our Drama and Theatre students have delivered an exceptional year of creative achievement. The VCE Theatre Studies Production Radium Girls led the way, offering a powerful and moving retelling of young women who courageously sought justice against the company that exploited and silenced them.

The Year 9 Suitcase Series at the Malthouse Theatre was another highlight, with students presenting an original performance exploring climate change and connecting with peers from schools across Melbourne. The Year 12 Monologue Night provided an inspiring showcase of polished, heartfelt solo pieces, that were later performed in external examinations. 

Our performance season concluded in Term 4 with the Year 11 Contemporary Theatre Showcase—an entertaining evening featuring works ranging from Medea to Lettice and Lovage.

What's ahead

We are thrilled to announce that the 2026 Theatre Studies Production will be The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard. And, of course, we are incredibly excited for our major 2026 school production, Hadestown. Keep an eye out for ticketing details for these shows next year!
