2026/27 Cricket Season

St Pius X College Cricket is beginning to gather interest for the upcoming 2026/27 season.

Cricket is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop their skills, represent the College, build friendships and enjoy the challenge of team sport. Whether students are experienced players, returning cricketers, or new to the game, we encourage families to start the conversation at home about getting involved.

Further information about MWJCA registrations, training and season details will be shared soon.

Are you ready to represent St Pius X College Cricket in 2026/27?

Despite some tough results, it was great to see the positive atmosphere last weekend, as every team played at home. A big thank you to the SPX Football supporters club, along with all the volunteers for such a successful Saturday.

This weekend all teams are away, with some substantial travel times for some teams.

This is the last round of the term and there are no games during the holidays.  Training will continue into Week 10 and then recommence Wednesday 22 July.

Good Luck to all teams.

What a great day at Oxford Falls!

The sun was shining, the football was great fun and it was a winning weekend for the Socceroos - who could ask for more?

Again, a huge thank you to all those who contributed to a great day of football at Oxford Falls - whether you baked cakes, turned sausages, served food or coached our boys. The sense of community of match day is tremendous.  We are running the next BBQ, bake sale and coffee cart in Term 3 on 1 and 8 August.  If you would like to volunteer to assist, we would love to see you.  All proceeds to back into the football program.

Save the Date - 29 August

Come along to the SPX Football Social at season's end - Yogi's Bar at Chatswood RSL.  6:30 pm start on 29 August.  A few of us watched the Socceroos match against Türkiye at the RSL last weekend, and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Chatswood RSL has sponsored our football development so this is a great way for us to get together for a fun night AND thank Chatswood RSL for their support.

Rugby Supporters’ Day – Saturday, 20 June at Oxford Falls

Gallery Image

We warmly invite all students and their families to join us for our annual Rugby Supporters’ Day at Oxford Falls, now rescheduled to Saturday, 20 June due to inclement weather.

We encourage everyone to stay and show their support for our 1st and 2nd XV teams throughout the day. As a special thank you, students will receive a token for a complimentary sausage sandwich, available from 2:00 pm.

Many of our Year 12 students have been representing the College on the rugby field since Year 5, and it is a wonderful tradition to acknowledge and celebrate their final season. This event is also a fantastic opportunity for younger students to experience the spirit of St Pius rugby and be inspired for their own future journeys.

We look forward to seeing you there on the 20th, cheering loudly and showing your support!
