Confirmation Candidates and Their Families Discover the Gifts of the Spirit Already Inside Them

Our year 5 and 6 students have started their preparations for the sacrament of Confirmation. On Wednesday night we were very fortunate once again to have presenters, Pia and Michele, work with the candidates and their parents to unpack what the sacrament is and why it is such a special event in the students' faith journeys.

One of the most powerful moments of the evening was witnessing the children and their parents identify in each other the gifts of the Holy Spirit and be able to so clearly articulate how the Spirit comes to life in all of us in our daily lives.

Sacramental Dates

Confirmation:

Commitment Masses: Sunday 2 August at 10:00am and 5:30pm
Confirmation Celebrations: Tuesday 8 September, Wednesday 9 September and Thursday 10 September in the evenings

First Eucharist:

Family Night : Tuesday 11 August
Parent Night (no students) with Father Kevin: Tuesday 18 August
Commitment Masses: Sunday 30 August at 10:00am and 5:30pm
First Eucharist Celebrations: Sundays 8, 15 and 22 November at 10:00am and 5:30pm
