Welcome to Year 2!!

Welcome to the start of a brand-new school year in Year 2. It has been a wonderful first few weeks, and the students have settled in beautifully. They are already showing great enthusiasm and a readiness to learn, which has made for a very positive start to the year.

We have been spending time getting to know one another and establishing our classroom routines and expectations. A strong focus has been placed on our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS), helping students understand how to be safe, respectful and responsible learners across the school.

The students have loved sharing some of their favourite things about themselves, and this has helped us build strong connections as a class. 

This year, we will be doing lots of exciting learning across all curriculum areas. We are also thrilled to once again be part of the Story Dog program, which supports students’ confidence and enjoyment in reading.
