Our Year 10 Outdoor Education students swapped the classroom for the waves during a fantastic excursion to URBNSURF Melbourne!
Students jumped straight in, developing their surfing skills, building confidence in the water and challenging themselves in a fun and supportive environment. There were plenty of waves, a few wipeouts and lots of laughs along the way.
The excursion was also the perfect preparation for their upcoming camp at Wilsons Promontory National Park, where students will have the opportunity to put their new skills into practice in the ocean.
With some valuable surfing experience now under their belts, our Year 10s are ready to take on the coast. Next stop: The Prom!
