Outstanding Recognition for Our Mentor Teachers
Congratulations to Ms Carly Doctor & Mr Peter Pantazis
We are delighted to congratulate Carly Doctor and Peter Pantazis, who have both been recognised by Monash University for their outstanding contribution to supporting the next generation of teachers.
Each year, in honour of World Teachers’ Day, Monash University recognises educators who make a valuable contribution to the professional experience of pre-service teachers.
Carly Doctor received an award for her outstanding contribution as a mentor teacher, recognising the time, guidance and support she provides to pre-service teachers throughout their placements at BSC.
When sharing the wonderful news of Carly’s achievement with staff, Peter very humbly left out one important detail – he received an award too!
Peter was recognised as an Outstanding Organiser of Teacher Placements, acknowledging the work he puts into coordinating and supporting the Pre-Service Teacher (PST) program at the College.
With hundreds of nominations received across the award categories, being selected for recognition is a fantastic achievement. Anyone who has worked with Carly or Peter through the PST program will know how much time and care they put into supporting pre-service teachers and helping them feel welcomed and supported during their time at BSC.
Please join us in congratulating Carly and Peter on their well-deserved recognition!
