A Week to Remember for Our Year 12s
One Last Week, A Lifetime of Memories
There was something very special in the air at BSC as our Class of 2026 celebrated their final week of classes together.
Year 12 Celebration Week was a chance to put the books aside for a moment, enjoy being together and celebrate the friendships, memories and experiences that have shaped their time at BSC. Brought to life by our College Captains and Social Committee in collaboration with BSC, the week was packed with activities designed to give our Year 12s a memorable send-off.
Each day brought a new theme and plenty of personality. Students customised and signed their BSC uniforms, dressed as their future careers, revisited childhood memories with some crazy hairstyles and finished the week by stepping back into their favourite decades.
There were plenty of opportunities to make a few more memories along the way, with the photobooth and caricatures proving popular, along with a Year 12 and staff morning tea, group trivia, cap decorating and a movie.
Thursday afternoon was a particularly special moment as students, staff and families came together for the Year 12 Celebration Assembly. It was an opportunity to celebrate our Year 12s and everything that has brought them to this point – but of course, we couldn’t let them leave without one final surprise!
Our staff once again took to the floor for the much-anticipated staff dance, bringing plenty of cheers, laughter and excitement to the Gym. What started as a bit of fun is quickly becoming a BSC Year 12 tradition, and somehow the challenge continues to grow to make it bigger and better each year!
Then came Friday – the final morning.
Year 12 students and their families gathered on the oval bright and early, enjoying the inflatables, games and plenty of laughs together before sharing breakfast with staff and families. The morning finished with a special Guard of Honour, as our Year 12s were celebrated by the people who have supported them throughout their journey.
It was a fitting end to a wonderful week – full of laughter, celebration and those final moments together that we hope our students will look back on fondly for many years to come.
To our Class of 2026, congratulations on reaching this milestone. We are incredibly proud of you and hope Celebration Week gave you the opportunity to stop, look around and enjoy just how far you have come.
A huge thank you to our College Captains, Social Committee, staff, families and everyone behind the scenes who helped make the week so memorable.
Class of 2026 – what a way to finish your BSC journey!
