Harmony Day

On Friday 21st March, Yarrabing Secondary celebrated Harmony Day. A day to celebrate the country’s cultural diversity and to recognise the contributions of all Australian’s. On the day, we had some activities running such as creating name tags with flags and pinning little beads on a world map to represent the diverse cultures we have here at Yarrabing.

Our Pasifika Club did a performance at lunchtime in cultural dress to show the school the pride they have for the countries they are from. It was a great performance, and we hope to have more in the future!
