Navy Band Visit 

We were lucky enough to have the Royal Australian Navy Band visit for the second year in a row in week 9. Students got to see one of the best Concert Bands in Australia play everything from Star Wars, to Hamilton, to military drum displays and marches. At the end of the concert Navy musicians played alongside our students as they performed and students were able to talk to them and ask questions about music. Choir also had a great workshop with the Navy Band singer. Thank you to the Royal Australian Navy Band for what was an amazing day for all our students.

Regional Stage Band Concert

On Saturday we had Mackinnon Senior Stage Band and Westernport Regional Band visit Frankston High School. They performed alongside our Junior, Intermediate and Senior Stage Bands. The concert ended with a big combined band on stage and students from each band taking solos on the Gordon Goodwin song Crunchy Frog. All students and musicians played so well in what was a really great afternoon of music. Special congratulations to the Junior Stage Band lead by Mr McAdam for their debut performance. 

Term 3 Winter Concert 

Our Training Concert Band is making fantastic progress and are preparing for their debut performance which will be held in the Performing Arts Theatre on Thursday 21st August commencing at 7:00pm. 

The evening will feature all our Concert Bands who are sounding incredible. This is always one of the highlights of the year so put the date in your diary. 

Bookings will be open on Trybooking early next term.
