World Challenge Nepal Update

On Saturday, June 14th, our staff team and students completed a training hike at Community Hill Reserve in Dromana. During the hike, students walked past lakes and visited waterfalls, testing their shoes and backpacks in preparation for the upcoming 29-day expedition, which departs on November 20th.

A big thank you to Mr. Brett Cook, Malcolm Burt, and Kate Adriaans for generously giving their time over the weekend to help train our students, who will be trekking through the Himalayas as part of the expedition phase of this epic adventure.

Visual Communication Design

Thursday 3 July, our talented Year 11 Visual Communication Design students visited Frankston City Library to interview Laura Antoniak, the library’s manager, as part of their design research.

The students asked insightful questions to better understand the library’s users, services, and future goals. This important stakeholder interview will inform their next major design outcome — a creative reimagining of the library’s architecture to better meet the needs of the local community.

Congratulations to all students for representing our school so professionally and showing such enthusiasm for user-centred design. We can’t wait to see the innovative concepts you develop next!
