LMR Badminton

On Monday 18th May, students travelled to Bendigo to compete in the LMR Badminton competition, representing the college across the Junior and Intermediate divisions.

Students competed strongly throughout the day and displayed excellent teamwork, sportsmanship and effort in all matches. Congratulations to all students on their results:

• JNR Girls – Sophie R, Rosie F, Ruby W, Lily L & Marley McG – 2nd
• JNR Boys – Chace H-D, Isaac R, Sam C & Darcy O – 2nd
• INT Girls – Stella N, Erin B, Lila S & Tamsyn McG – 3rd
• INT Boys – Murphy F, Andrei A, Charlie Z & Liam M – 1st

A special congratulations to the Intermediate Boys team, who will now represent the college at the State Championships in Melbourne on August 12. We wish them all the best in the next stage of the competition.

LMR Cross Country Regional Finals

Good luck to Sophie R, Isaac R, Sam C, Rosie F, Stella N, Murphy F and Heidi S, who will represent the college at the LMR Cross Country Regional Finals next Tuesday, 2nd June, in St Arnaud.

Students qualified for the regional event following their strong performances at the North Central division level and will now compete against students from schools across the Loddon Mallee Region, including areas such as Bendigo, Mildura, Swan Hill, Echuca and surrounding districts.
