40 Years of Service

Congratulations to Peter Moloney on being recognized for 40 years of service to public education at a ceremony hosted by the Department of Education last week.

Peter has taught Metalwork and VET Engineering to many students across the North Central, both at the old Cluster Centre and at the North Central Trade Training Centre. I have had many conversations with ex-students about the positive influence and impact Peter has had on them and the amazing work he continues to undertake with our current students.

Please head to the NCTTC page to see some pictures and further celebration of Peter's milestone!

2026 Attitudes to School Survey

On Tuesday 2nd June students in Grade 4 to year 12 will undertake the 2026 Attitudes to School Survey. Data collected includes how students feel in relation to their school, their learning, peer relationships, resilience, bullying, health and wellbeing, physical activity, and life in general.

This data supports the college to understand what is going well, but also areas we can continue to improve. A letter with information about the 2026 2026 Attitudes to School Survey has been sent to all families via Compass earlier this week and is still available on the news feed in Compass.

Whole School Assembly Monday

At the Whole school assembly Monday, only 29 students had been present for every class in the first half of the term. Illness over the past couple of weeks, has taken out a large number of students. The lucky attendee for the first half of Term 2 was Ryan.

Prior to Monday’s Assembly, this term we have been acknowledged for 369 positive behaviours. 94 for resilience, 52 for respect and 223 for responsibility. The mid-term prizes, kindly donated by the REX Cinema, Charlton went to Koko and Leo.
